INTERLABORATORY COMPARISON TESTING 2026/2027

ICT: Diagnostic examination of BCR fusion gene::ABL1

ICT is organized annually. Registered laboratories receive 3 samples of cellular lysates or cDNA.

The evaluated criteria are:

- determination of positivity/negativity of the sample

- determination of the type of rearrangement

Results submitted by laboratories are compared with the results of the organizer and in case of successful completion of ICT, laboratories receive certificates.

This year's round of ICT is planned for 4th quarter of 2026. At the end of November, samples for analysis will be sent to laboratories, by mid-December laboratories will submit results to theorganizer and at the beginning of the following year the analyses will be evaluated and subsequently certificates will be sent to laboratories.
