Treated diagnoses

At ÚHKT we treat adult patients primarily with the following diagnoses:
  • Acute myeloid leukemia (in the stage of initial presentation and relapse pre- and post-transplantation)
  • Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (in the stage of initial presentation and relapse pre- and post-transplantation)
  • Acute promyelocytic leukemia (in the stage of initial presentation and relapse)
  • Myelodysplastic syndromes (all types)
  • Chronic myeloid leukemia (in all phases of the disease)
  • Chronic lymphatic leukemia
  • Ph-negative myeloproliferative diseases (polycythemia vera, primary myelofibrosis, essential thrombocythemia)
  • Myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative disease (e.g. chronic myelomonocytic leukemia)
  • Eosinophil and mast cell diseases (e.g. hypereosinophilic syndrome; systemic mastocytosis)
  • Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura
  • Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura
  • Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC)
  • Congenital and acquired thrombotic states
  • Congenital and acquired hemorrhagic states (e.g. Hemophilia A, Hemophilia B, von Willebrand disease, deficiencies of other coagulation factors)

  • Rare disorders of red blood cell formation (thalassemia, hemoglobinopathies and others)
