Amelie Association

Since 2006, Amelie, z.s., has been helping cancer patients and their loved ones overcome various stressful situations that arise in connection with the disease, before, during and after treatment.

The offer of individual and group activities in Amelie Centers in Prague, Olomouc, Rakovník and Liberec is complemented by the telephone and email Amelie Hotline.

Amelie further develops a volunteer program specialized in oncology and education and awareness for the general public by experts from healthcare workers and social workers.

All this is complemented by publishing and information activities. Amelie helps you live life with cancer.

As part of expanding support for its patients, ÚHKT signed a cooperation agreement with Amelie association. Amelie staff will appear at the institute from September, you can recognize them by their marked yellow t-shirts.

 

 

STOPA z. s. – Society for Support of Patients after Bone Marrow Transplantation

The Stopa Association was founded on January 18, 2012 as an initiative of patients after bone marrow transplantation and their loved ones. The name "Stopa" symbolizes a path that other patients can also follow – a path of sharing experiences, mutual support and human connection.

Our goal is to support not only the patients themselves, but also their loved ones. We create space for human solidarity and sharing personal stories from life with hematological and oncological disease.

We focus on education and awareness, organize cultural events and support open communication between healthcare professionals and patients.

 

Who can become a member?

Anyone who is interested in this topic can become a member of the association – patients, their loved ones, experts and people who want to support the community through their participation and interest.

The fund emphasizes transparency, thereby building trust between donors and recipients of assistance for over 25 years.
