Coagulation (blood clotting) disorders can be either congenital or acquired. Often these are rare diseases, which is why a Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Rare Hemostasis Disorders operates here.

At ÚHKT, we focus on the treatment of hemophilia A, hemophilia B, von Willebrand disease, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), and other congenital and acquired thrombotic and bleeding disorders.
