Quality Controls
Participation in external quality controls is an integral part of ensuring quality and comparability of examination results in clinical laboratories. Based on long-term experience and in line with established quality management systems, the UHKT organizes quality controls for some specialized laboratory examinations.
The laboratories of the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion offer quality controls in the following areas:
- Detection of HLA alleles associated with diseases
- Competence testing for the field of quantitative examination of cellular chimerism
- Special methods of clinical flow cytometry
- Examination of BCR-ABL1 fusion gene
