IHBT Prague - Equipment of the progressive medicine pavilion including cryogenic storage with medical technology: 

Project annotation:

The aim of the action is to equip the new building of progressive medicine including cryogenic storage in the 2nd basement level, which IHBT will build from its own resources. This is primarily the acquisition of 14 special containers (Dewar vessels) with vacuum insulation for storing liquid nitrogen for cryopreservation of grafts for clinical and scientific purposes. Very dangerous cryogenic storage work will be secured by the acquisition of 2 robotic systems, which will also ensure efficient sample storage. Furthermore, 2 storage tanks will be procured in which the total supply of liquid nitrogen will be stored and 1 technological, safety and control system, which is necessary for quality and safe operation in accordance with applicable legislation and meets the conditions set by SUKL. The reason for acquiring this technological complex is that IHBT will unify its external storage facilities in one location, which will reduce high storage and transport costs for grafts and increase safety and quality. Initial value 0 pcs, target value: 19 pcs.

IHBT - Delivery of a comprehensive information system and renewal of related infrastructure

 

Project annotation:

The subject of the IHBT – CIS project is the acquisition of a new comprehensive information system for healthcare agenda and its implementation into IHBT technological environment. An integral part of the project implementation is also the modernization of related communication infrastructure, which is necessary for seamless operation of the comprehensive IS. The aim is to introduce modern information technology focused on healthcare, which will improve and streamline the healthcare provided in inpatient wards and outpatient clinics of IHBT.

Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion Prague – crisis preparedness

 

Project annotation: 

Update of the crisis preparedness plan, focused on experiences and good practices from addressing the COVID-19 epidemic. Training of employees in the procedures of updated plans including practical exercises and drills using appropriate technical elements. Support of psychosocial assistance for employees of the healthcare provider.

Ongoing projects:

IHBT - development of highly specialized care for hematooncology patients

Project annotation: 

The subject of the project is the development and increase of IHBT's resilience in safe care for oncology patients as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Within the framework of the project, building modifications to the IHBT facilities for providing the aforementioned care for oncology patients will be addressed.
