Bone Marrow Transplantation

Bone marrow transplants have been performed in the IHBT the longest time and in the largest number in the Czech Republic. Every year the IHBT physicians perform around sixty transplants; in total they have already performed over a thousand of them. Their very first patient in the 1980s was Dagmar, then aged twenty. She is today the longest living bone marrow transplant patient.
