Education

The IHBT provides under-graduate education for students of medical faculties, doctoral studies in medical and biological fields; qualifying training of physicians and other healthcare personnel; courses in hematology and transfusion medicine. In co-operation with medical faculties and other universities, the IHBT offers practical training in selected medical and biological fields.IHBTemployees are external tutors at the medical faculties of Charles University and other universities.

A joint Institute of Clinical and Experimental Hematology, comprising the IHBT and the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University, was set up to ensure under-graduate hematology tuition.
