Information and Communication Technologies Department

Administrative and personal data on the department.

Information and Communication Technologies (IKT in Czech) takes care of the computer network in the Institute. It purchases, installs and maintainences hardware as well as software, and it provides a general support to users.

IKT is responsible for functioning and cooperation of all information systems within the Institute (the laboratory and clinical system UNIS, the transfusion system Amadeus, and the economical system) as well as with other institutions (transfer of laboratory investigation results from General Faculty Hospital or Faculty Hospital in Motol, communication with National Register of Blood Donors etc.)

Web portal IHBT

New institute web portal has been activated. It should fulfill the following goals:

• To be available in English - you can browse them and choose a language as you wish
• To connect information as best as possible - e.g. from the list of publications or grants you may move to a personal page just by one click.
• To be nice.

IKT operates Database of Cytogenetic and DNA Laboratories in the Czech Republic. It supports webs of Society for Transfusion Medicine and NRL for Papillomaviruses.
